Bra Fitting

Find a bra that's perfect for you

The most important bra fitting consideration is comfort

The mistake many ladies make is settling for a bra size that's close enough, rather than searching for one that's perfect.

Here's what to check for

Bra cups too big
A bra that is too big will not support the breasts.  If the cup is too big, the breast will bounce around inside the cup.  Typical visual signs are that the cups are loose or wrinkled.  Also, if the cup is too high at the underarm, this will cause chafing and rubbing.

Bra cups too small
It can be irritating and sometimes painful to wear a bra that is too small.  It can make a breast look bigger, giving a double-decker shape.  This is when half the breast is sitting in the bra, and the other half spills over the neckline and armhole.  The wire will also cut into the breast, sometimes causing it to spill from under the base.  The centre front of the bra will always sit away from the body.

Too big around the body
This will provide little or no support.  The bra will ride up the back, feel loose and sloppy, and sometimes the breast will fall out of the bottom of the bra.

Too small around the body
This will cut into the body, making it look squeezed and pinched.  This will cause pain, leave red marks on the skin, and the first thing you want to do when you get home is take your bra off.  A good bra is one you put on in the morning and forget about till you take it off at night before you go to bed.
